Dr. Radmila Wollrab serves as the Director of Sustainability at the Kansai Helios Group, where she has been a member of the management team since July 1, 2023. With a keen focus on sustainability, she also leads initiatives at Helios TBLUS d.o.o., ensuring the integration of sustainable practices across operations.

Her journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, followed by a Ph.D. in Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, USA.

Dr. Wollrab brings over a decade of expertise from her role as Principal Engineer at Celanese in Pasadena, TX, where she spearheaded the development and deployment of advanced processes and technologies. Her tenure there was marked by significant contributions, leading to numerous promotions and an impressive portfolio of over 60 patents.

In 2019, Dr. Wollrab joined Helios Resins, a division of Kansai Helios, initially as an R&D Engineer, quickly rising to the position of project manager. In this capacity, she has overseen capital investment projects while championing sustainability endeavours, notably securing the ISCC PLUS certificate for polyester and acrylic resins.
